Service Description
Get Votes provides SMS and email messaging services with real-time Slack conversation management for political campaigns.
Your Responsibilities
- You are responsible for having a legal basis to contact the voters in your contact list (voter file data, event sign-ups, donation forms, or other established consent)
- You must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws regarding political communications
- You must not use Get Votes for spam, deceptive messaging, or any purpose that violates TCPA regulations
- You are responsible for the content of your messages
Our Responsibilities
- We handle carrier registration and compliance infrastructure
- We process opt-out requests automatically and immediately
- We enforce TCPA quiet hours
- We maintain consent records for 4+ years
- We provide data isolation between campaigns
Pricing and Payment
- Platform license and election registration fees are one-time charges
- SMS credit packs are purchased on demand and expire 90 days from purchase
- Email is included free with SMS packs
- All prices are listed publicly at get.vot.es/pricing
- Payments are processed by Stripe
Credit Expiration
SMS credits expire 90 days from purchase. Unused credits are not refundable.
Termination
Either party may terminate the service relationship at any time. Upon termination:
- Campaign data will be available for export for 30 days
- After 30 days, campaign data will be deleted
- Consent records will be retained as required by law
Limitation of Liability
Get Votes is not responsible for the content of messages sent by campaigns, the accuracy of voter contact data provided by campaigns, or compliance failures resulting from campaign-provided data.
